I use this line on a 7'1" St. Croix Bass X Medium action rod and love it. I am not afraid to throw it into the weeds or lily pads because I know I will haul in whatever is on the other end. Absolutely incredible strength for 8lb test and it casts a country mile. Hands down it is the best fluorocarbon on the market in my opinion. I will not use anything else
