Before trying Vicious Braid, I was a long-time consumer of PowerPro braid. The makeup and feel are similar, but I could tell an immediate difference in terms of the greater versatility and strength in Vicious braid over other manufacturers. Once I switched to Vicious braid, I started using their Fluorocarbon lines and when I saw that their fluoro was superior I switched to Vicious exclusively for braid, fluoro and mono. Freshwater or saltwater, Vicious lines have never let me or my clients down.
